Getting started with Delight


How can I get a Delight mobile SIM?
To benefit from the savings Delight Mobile offers, you need a Delight Mobile SIM card. You can get a Delight Mobile SIM card by ordering a starter pack 
here or from the many shops showing the Delight Mobile signage. The starter pack is free, but you will need to top-up to start making calls.


What does the Delight Mobile starter pack contain?
The starter pack includes a Delight SIM card and an information booklet to help get you started.


Can I keep my existing mobile number, if I chose to join Delight?
You can opt to keep your current mobile number and use it with your new Delight Mobile SIM. Please Text your PAC Code and Mobile Number to 07574212555. Click here to know more.


How many days will it take to transfer my existing mobile number to my new Delight SIM?
This process will take 1 working day from receipt of your PAC. When your number transfer has been completed you will receive a confirmation Text from us.


How do I get my PAC number?
To get your PAC Code please Call your 
operator's Customer Care Number and ask them to give you a PAC Code. Click here to know more.


How do I use my Delight SIM?

1.       Open the packaging and remove the Delight Mobile SIM card from its holder.

2.       Put your Delight SIM in your mobile.

3.       Turn your mobile on and select Delight Mobile.

4.       Enter your Delight Mobile PIN code, found on the back of the SIM card holder.

5.       Add credit by purchasing vouchers in-store or online.



How can I check my Delight Mobile number?
From your phone press *195# send.
Your number will automatically display on screen.


How can I check my account balance?
From your phone simply key in *192# followed by pressing the call key. Your credit balance will automatically display on screen.

How can I check my Delight Mobile number?

How can I retrieve my voicemail?
Dial 901 from your Delight Mobile or +447892 110 901
from any other phone. You can then listen to your messages for a small fee of 5p, when in your home network. Calling from abroad will occur to the roaming charges of the chosen network provider. All voicemail messages (whether played, unplayed or saved) will be automatically deleted after 30 days.


I have forgotten my PUK / PIN code.
Your PUK code is
displayed on the SIM Card holder that came in your starter pack. Please retain it for safe keeping. Alternatively you can call our customer service team and they will be glad to assist you.


How can I use Internet on my mobile?
If you are a Delight user we offer you certain free Internet allowance with every top-up. For details on how to activate mobile internet on your mobile, please

 I lost my SIM card. Can I move my old number to a new SIM?
Call customer service and arrange for your old number to be moved to a new SIM card. You may be asked security questions in order to verify that you are the account holder. Please be advised that it costs £1 to do a SIM swap. The amount will be deducted from your balance.


How to send MMS?
Multi Media messages (MMS) allow you to send and receive pictures and audio such as a video clip or animation. At present we can only offer this service for between Delight Mobile customers and a limited number of other destinations. We are working hard to add more networks in the near future.

In order to use MMS, you must activate Internet on your MMS capable handset and also, don't forget to enable data and MMS while roaming.


How much does it cost to register for a My Delight online account?
It’s free to register for a My Delight account. Once 
registered, you can check your balance, call history, edit your personal details and add credit.


I have forgotten my login details for My Delight – how can I get a reminder?
Don’t worry. We can send you a reminder – simply provide us with your Delight Mobile number and the email address you used when registering in the 
password reminder page.


Topping up your phone


Where can I top-up?
You can purchase top-up vouchers from shops displaying the Delight Mobile sign or from one of our 
top-up partners. Alternatively, you can top-up here using your credit card.


How do I top-up my account?
Once you have purchased a top-up voucher from a shop, simply key in *191* followed by the 10-digit PIN number, found on the back of the voucher, followed by the # key, and press call. Alternatively, dial 191 from your Delight Mobile or +447892101191 from any other phone and follow the instructions.


How does the triple credit work?
Every time you top up your credit will be tripled automatically. No fuss, just simple and easy.


How many times can I get triple credit on my top up?


Why did my online transaction fail?
Your transaction could have failed for different reasons. Here are a few things you should check before trying to top-up on our website:

  • Make sure you have signed up for MasterCard SecureCode if you use a Mastercard or Verified by Visa if you use a Visa card.
  • Make sure the address you enter is correct and matches the information your bank holds on you.
  • Make sure you enter the correct CVN number on the back of your card.
  • Please also note that your transaction might fail if you are trying to top-up from abroad.

What is 'verified by Visa' and 'Mastercard SecureCode'?
Because we take security seriously at Delight, we use the official Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code secure payment schemes to process your card payment, adding an extra level of protection for online card payments.

During the payment process, you'll be securely forwarded to your bank's website for verification. The code you use will be known only to yourself and your bank – just like when you tap your PIN into the card reader in a shop. Once your bank has authenticated the transaction, you'll be redirected back to Delight's website to finish your purchase.


How do I sign up to 'Verified by Visa' and 'Mastercard SecureCode'?
If you have not yet registered your card for 3D secure payments you will be asked to do so during the authentication process - you'll just need to confirm a few security details with your own bank and set a password or PIN for future use. Once you've done this, you can use this extra level of security on any website that uses Verified by Visa or MasterCard Secure Code to secure your card transactions. Don't forget to keep your password and PIN safe at all times, making sure you only disclose it on official authentication websites of your bank.

If my transaction failed why did you deduct money from my bank account?
Unfortunately, sometimes problems are encountered and in a small number of cases it is possible that the transaction fails, yet it appears that money has been deducted from your account, this is most likely because the transaction is still on authorization hold. Normally, the authorization hold will automatically fall off after a few days, and the money will reappear in your account (The authorization hold depends on your card issuer - In a small number of cases this could take up to 30 days). If your funds do not reappear within the timeframe given by your card issuer you should take contact to them so they can look into the issue.

Using your phone abroad


Are there any roaming charges if I go abroad?
Outgoing calls will be charged at set rates dependent on the country and network the call is made from and to.


What does Roaming cost?
To find out your call rate to any destination while you’re roaming outside of the UK simply key in *197* followed by the recipient’s number followed by the # key, and press the call button. The per-minute call rate from your current location will automatically display on your mobile screen.


How do I sign up for Roaming?
This is done automatically for you when you use a Delight Mobile SIM. It’s not a service that is available to customers of other networks.


Do I need to dial an access number when calling abroad?
No – simply dial direct. The call savings you make will be handled when Delight Mobile routes the call to your destination.


How do I prepare my phone for roaming?
How to use the Delight Roaming Services when you are abroad

1. Switch on your mobile phone

2. Locate the menu “Delight Services” and click on “Select Roaming Mode”.

Please note that the appearance of this menu may differ from handset to handset (e.g. the menu “Delight Services” can be seen in the menu “SIM Toolkit” for the smart phones, but some older handsets have “Delight Service” in the main menu)

3. Once you have selected “Roaming Mode”, you then have two further options: Automatic or Manual. We recommend that you select Manual.

4. Once you have selected “Manual” within the menu “Select Location”, you will get a selection menu and you need to select “Overseas” and exit the menu. You have now selected the Delight Roaming service. The signal will appear in 20 – 40 seconds. Once you have got the signal you can use the roaming services

Note: If you want to use the Delight service when you return to your home country (after you have used the roaming services abroad), you have to go through above procedure and reselect “In the (Home Country)” from the menu “Select Location”. You will get a signal in 20 – 40 seconds in your home country for your normal use
